The DW7 is an integrated dual-motor controller that combines two independent motor control channels in a single unit. It supports both AC induction and permanent magnet synchronous motor control, with up to 15 digital inputs and 6 low-power outputs to meet the requirements of a wide range of electric vehicles.
Operating across 48V, 60V, 72V, and 80V platforms, the DW7 features advanced control algorithms to enhance vehicle maneuverability, operational performance, and driving comfort.
Built-in solid-state relays reduce external components and wiring connections, simplifying vehicle assembly while helping customers lower system integration and maintenance costs.
Supports coordinated traction drive and hydraulic pump control, meeting the power requirements of both vehicle travel and lifting operations. Designed for heavy-load applications and frequent start-stop cycles, it also offers compatibility with multiple motor and encoder types, simplifying motor selection and integration for OEMs.

Frequently asked questions about DW7
Both the DW5 and DW7 support AC induction motors, permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM), and serial/CAN communication. Their main differences lie in overall dimensions, available output current ratings, and feedback interfaces.
The DW7 additionally supports resolver feedback, making it suitable for motor systems that use resolver-based position feedback.
The DW5 and DW7 are available in 48V, 72V, and 80V configurations, with different output current ratings available for each voltage platform. OEMs can select the appropriate model based on motor power, continuous current, and peak current requirements.
