One sweeper. One controller.
DALA Motion officially launches the AM1-S7 Integrated Motor Controller!

In the commercial cleaning equipment industry, manufacturers have always faced two major challenges in production and overall operations: performance and cost. How can they improve machine performance while effectively reducing total vehicle costs in an increasingly competitive market?
DALA Motion's answer is integration and intelligence — making cost reduction and efficiency improvements possible through innovative control technology.
From XD5 and AM0-T to AM1-S7
As one of the early manufacturers in China to invest in integrated controller technology, DALA Motion has successively introduced two well-established integrated controller platforms: XD5 and AM0-T. These products have helped customers in multiple industries transition from multiple separate controllers to integrated control systems.
Our goal has always been to help customers achieve greater overall machine value at a lower total cost.
Building on years of technical experience and continued investment in commercial cleaning equipment, DALA Motion has developed the next-generation AM1-S7 Integrated Controller.
Following the functional architecture of conventional sweepers, a single AM1-S7 can centrally control up to eight motor channels, covering traction, brush drive, vacuum, side brushes, and multiple linear actuators. It offers a new integrated control option for sweepers and the wider commercial cleaning equipment industry, including cleaning robots.

Traditional sweepers typically use one traction controller combined with multiple relays to separately drive the traction motor, brush motor, side brushes, and vacuum motor.
This approach makes vehicle design and wiring more complicated, increases assembly and maintenance costs, and limits manufacturers' production efficiency due to time-consuming and error-prone assembly processes.
With the AM1-S7, a single controller can manage eight motor channels, including traction, brush drive, vacuum, and side brushes. It covers most small- and medium-sized sweeper models currently available on the market.
The main specifications are shown below:

Compared with conventional drive architectures, the AM1-S7 delivers direct benefits to equipment manufacturers:
For manufacturers, this means faster development, faster assembly, and faster delivery — with significant improvements in overall operational efficiency.
Over the past decade, commercial cleaning equipment has predominantly used brushed DC motors. However, their limitations have become increasingly apparent:
The AM1-S7 fully supports brushless motors for traction drive, making the transition from brushed to brushless technology more accessible:
By adopting brushless drive technology, manufacturers can significantly reduce component and maintenance costs while improving efficiency, achieving comprehensive optimization of both cost and performance.

Commercial cleaning equipment, especially sweepers, often operates outdoors under heavy loads throughout the year. Controller reliability and stability directly affect vehicle costs and the end-user experience.
The AM1-S7 is built on DALA Motion's next-generation direct-connected power topology. It represents a new generation of electric control products driven by fundamental innovations in product architecture and underlying technology.

Compared with previous-generation controllers, the new architecture offers several key advantages:
Fewer repairs and more reliable manufacturing processes give sweepers greater all-weather operating capability. Rain, dust, and extended full-load operation become easier to handle.
The AM1-S7 integrates a comprehensive system of capabilities, from hardware protection to intelligent monitoring, creating a robust safety framework for cleaning equipment.
From distributed control to all-in-one integration, from brushed to brushless drive, and from reactive maintenance to proactive protection — the AM1-S7 represents a significant step forward in cleaning equipment control technology.
It addresses the practical challenges faced by sweeper manufacturers while embracing the industry's key trends of integration, intelligence, and cost optimization. Whether used in sweepers, scrubber dryers with brushless traction motors, or cleaning robots, the AM1-S7 offers a versatile solution to help manufacturers strengthen their competitiveness.
